AAA Fire Protection Services Remains Open During Shelter In Place Per Essential Business Definitions<\/h3>

Dear Valued Customers:<\/p>\n

Santa Clara County, Alameda County, and other Bay Area counties have just issued \"Shelter in Place\" orders for all residents of the counties. AAA Fire Protection is considered an essential business and will remain open.<\/strong> Based upon the defined list of essential businesses per California Health and Safety Code and the issues orders, AAA Fire Protection qualifies according to 2 different categories based on sections 10.f.ix and 10.f.xv of the above mentioned code. <\/p>\n

Per the definitions of \"Essential Businesses\":<\/p>\n

10.f.ix. Plumbers, electricians, exterminators and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation and essential operation of residences, Essential Activities, and Essential Business,<\/strong> <\/p>\n

10.f.xv. Businesses that supply other essential business with the support or supplies necessary to operate;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Section ix. qualifies us for Life Safety as an essential business. Section xv qualifies us as maintenance\/cleaning departments as an essential business. Many of our customers who use our services qualify in the list of essential businesses, including farms, grocery stores, food delivery, mailing and shipping, laundry, and many others. <\/p>\n

To comply with this official order, it is imperative<\/strong> that AAA Fire Protection<\/strong> practice the defined \"Social Distancing Requirements\" defined in section 10.j, which reads: <\/p>\n

j. For purposes of this Order, \"Social Distancing Requirements\" includes maintaining at least six-foot social distancing from other individuals, washing hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer, covering coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve or elbow, not hands), regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces, and not shaking hands. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This also means that we must have our customers maintain the six-foot social distancing when in our facilities. Customers waiting in line must wait at least 6 feet away from one another. If we need to have customers wait outside our offices while we are helping other customers, that may also be necessary.<\/p>\n

AAA Fire Protection will be open to help unless told otherwise by local government. <\/p>\n
